Uniquely, you’re placed between two beaches, the award-winning North Shore is a 10-minute walk, and the quieter, sand-duned West Shore is 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Snowdonia National Park is just 20 minutes by car, and the Great Orme, pier, cable car and Victorian tramway are all right on your doorstep.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Llandudno, you are just a 5-minute walk from the town centre’s cafes, bars, restaurants and independent shops. A further 5 minutes brings you to the award-winning North Shore Beach, one of Wales’s finest Victorian seafronts, complete with pier and promenade.
In the other direction, the quieter, sand-duned West Shore Beach is just 15 minutes’ walk, meaning you are uniquely placed between two very different but equally beautiful coastlines.
Snowdonia National Park is a 20-minute drive for mountain walks and dramatic scenery, while the Great Orme headland, reachable by historic cable car or Victorian tramway, is right on your doorstep.

Llandudno Beaches
Llandudno’s geographical harmony also extends to its culture. In a picturesque setting, the large beach on the North Shore faces Llandudno Bay as it is located between the Great Orme and the Little Orme, two large limestone headlands. The beach stretches for two miles, which provides enough sand for building castles.
On the opposite side of the former – connected by a spectacular sea-cliff trail called Marine Drive – you will find another beach called West Shore. The West Shore looks out towards Anglesey and Conwy and this also has a large sandy beach to enjoy many seaside activities.
